Boost Your Production to Build a Lasting Business

Boost Your Production

Remember the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel, the two young siblings who were left in the forest by their parents during a time of famine? Having overheard their parents’ plot to desert them, Hansel devised a simple plan of dropping little while stones to mark the path as their parents took him and his sister deep into the woods. Clever young man!

I love the simple system Hansel implemented that allowed their easy passage home. The little white stones provide a clearly marked path—no wrong turns, no going in circles and no detours.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a simple system like that for guidance to a higher production level? Over the past 18 years, Buffini & Company has diligently constructed a guidance system that catapults agents and lenders to income levels exceeding the national average multiple times over.

To complement the current training and coaching services, here are a few “little white stones” to provide additional support on your journey to higher production and more income.

1. Keep your skills sharp.

Your sales skills are like knives—if they’re not sharpened regularly, they become dull and lose their effectiveness. When was the last time you sharpened your ‘knives’? When was the last time you focused on become more influential with buyers or skilled with sellers?

2. Become a goal-getter.

You need to know where you’re going with a set of clear and specific goals. Without something to strive for, you eventually turn into a ship without a rudder. Write your goals down and be sure to review them each day. You’ll be surprised what a difference it makes.

3. Adopt an athlete’s mindset.

Athletes are people who are constantly trying to get better and improve their performance on the field. Training is a must for every successful athlete.

[box]If you want to improve, training needs to be a consistent aspect of your strategy. Sign up for 100 Days to Greatness®, or take it again to help you stay on top of your game. And, make sure you sign up for the Blitz. While the Summertime Surge is underway, there’s another Blitz planned for the fall to help you end your year right.[/box]

4. Stay connected.

People are like appliances. They work a lot better when they’re “plugged in.” When you’re plugged in and aligned with positive, productive people, you’ll be more productive yourself. Make a special effort to get connected to agents and lenders who are motivated and focused. It’ll have a powerful effect on you!

5. Invest in personal growth.

Benjamin Franklin inspired the American dream. Franklin has been cited as the first self-made millionaire in the United States. He famously said, “If a person empties their purse into their head, no one will be able to take it from them. An investment in your self always pays the highest dividends.” He knew what he was talking about! I try to live by this excellent advice. Make an investment in yourself with books, training, travel and Coaching. You’re worth it!
