Balance: The Greatest Gift Your Real Estate Coach Will Give You (Part 1)

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us experience a lack of balance between our professional and personal lives. When this happens, not only do you feel stressed and overwhelmed, but you may also find yourself drained of the energy needed to create and maintain a positive mindset. In these situations, lean into your real estate coach, and they will help you find the balance you need to thrive.

If you glance at the Buffini & Company logo, you’ll notice that it’s made up of overlapping circles. These represent five major areas that require balance in life — spiritual, family, business, financial and personal. At Buffini & Company, any real estate coach knows that our priority is to help our Members master these areas so they improve their business, mindset and overall well-being. This principle is universal, and it can be applied by anyone, anywhere.

I want to dive into two of these circles: financial and business. When you work toward balancing these areas, you’ll find yourself stressing less about your money and your workload so you can focus more on the people and activities you love!


To be balanced in business you need to be very clear on what your goals are and you must write them down. Secondly, you need to have a financial plan which includes a working budget for your home and another for your business. Third, you need to manage your time by setting priorities and following systems that support those priorities.

Because everyday challenges can make it difficult to stay on track, a coach or accountability partner can be a huge help as they can encourage your consistency with effective habits and routines to keep you on course. Most importantly, find and commit to a business system that matches your values. I designed Buffini & Company to provide events, tools, training and real estate coaching that help folks grow and find balance in life. I firmly believe that committing to a business model that prioritizes relationships, service and skills means you’ll always be on track to win, both professionally and personally.


In our culture, many people spend money they don’t have to buy things they don’t need to impress people they don’t know. Being bombarded by commercials and pop-up ads everywhere we go, it is easy to spend all we earn (or even more than we earn) by the end of the month unless we have established a working budget and made some things automatic.

Creating balance in our financial circle means things like putting aside what you need for day-to-day expenses and then setting up automatic savings accounts to fund your financial goals including separate accounts for taxes, investments and travel. Investing is a great way to make your money grow and work for you, so seek out professional advice on how to start. I personally think real estate is still the single greatest investment!

Remember, if you feel overwhelmed in any of these areas, get a real estate coach to help you get everything back on track. If you’re already in coaching, be sure to lean into your coach and allow them to guide you through this process!
