Party Your Way to More Real Estate Referrals

Party Your Way to More Real Estate Referrals

Fall is quickly approaching, and before you know it, the holiday season will be here in full swing. A great way to leverage the season and generate more real estate referrals is through a client appreciation party. These events demonstrate your exceptional commitment to great customer service, while also keeping you top of mind for all your clients’ real estate needs. Start preparing for your party now so you can plan a memorable experience that’s sure to get your clients talking.

Here are a few ideas to help you party your way to more real estate referrals during the holiday season.

Thanksgiving Pie Party

We like to call these “reverse pop-by” events. Instead of going to your clients with a small gift, they come to you for a pie! Send invites to your top referring clients and have them RSVP with the type of pie they want. Purchase the pies at a local Costco or grocery store the day before. Host the party in your home or office, and provide some coffee and treats as well. You’ll show appreciation for your A+ clients and supply their Thanksgiving dessert.

“Moms and Mimosas”

Back to school can be a stressful time for parents. What better way to unwind then with a fun social hour? Invite some of the mothers in your network to meet up over mimosas (or coffee). Exchange time management ideas, try a DIY craft or just sit and chat! This is a great excuse for busy moms to take a well-deserved break!

Apple Picking

Help your clients kick off their fall activities with apple picking! Look into local orchards and host a picking party. Many places charge by the bag/bushel, making it easy to plan on a budget depending on the number of guests. If you’re not near an orchard, look into finding some fresh squeezed cider and host a “pick up party” where your clients to come by and grab a jug. Fill up their cup and their hearts.

Friday Night Pizza Party

Friday nights are precious for both kids and parents during the school year. Pick a Friday night early in the school year to host a pizza party. Gather all of your clients at a local pizza joint and have a variety of pies and salads, buffet style. Take dinner off their plate and provide fun for the whole family!

Clothing Swap

Use this one as a time to clean out your closet and the kids’ closets. Rally up your friends and clients who are doing the same thing, and pick a day to invite them over to your home with their items. Make it a party with snacks, beverages and music. Guests can take what they’d like for their family, then you can drive the rest to a donation center. Not only are you giving back to the community, but you’re also helping your neighbors get rid of clutter. It’s a win-win!

Now that you have a few ideas, get to work to plan which one you’re going to do first! Remember to always follow up with party attendees by sending a personal note to both those who attended and those who couldn’t make it.

A client appreciation party is a great investment for your business — by showing this level of care and service, you are the first professional your clients will want to approach for real estate referrals they can trust.
