Brian Buffini, the chairman and founder of Buffini & Company, will offer his insights on what the future holds for the housing market — and what real estate agents and business owners need to do to succeed — with his Bold Predictions Mid-Year 2024: Real Estate Market Outlook broadcast. The Real State of the Market
Buffini will cut through the negative media headlines and share fact-based research and analysis regarding what is really happening in real estate now and what’s in store for the second half of 2024 and beyond.

The average age of a first-time homebuyer is 35. Adding to this pressure, he noted, is that average rents in many parts of the country are still so high.

Katie Johnson will provide insights gleaned from her perspective as the chief legal officer and chief member experience officer for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Johnson will share the latest updates on the new rules of real estate now in place after the landmark NAR settlement earlier this year. She will discuss with Buffini what real estate professionals need to know regarding agent compensation and the importance of having clients sign written representation agreements.
