You, but Unstoppable

Featured image

Have you ever started something important, only to give up and never finish? It’s easy to get discouraged when you encounter obstacles on your path to success but, to get where you want to go, you need to become unstoppable. Here are three strategies that will ensure you always stay focused, never give up and win.

Make up your mind

Life is never perfect – it’s full of struggles and difficulties. The secret to success is to make up your mind to win, no matter what. When your mind is made up, you become a force of nature. You recognize that failure is not the opposite of success, but a part of it. You become determined to overcome setbacks, you strive to meet your goals and you focus on wins, not losses. Remember: Successful people make up their minds to win long before they experience their first victory!

Square your jaw

The good life can sometimes feel like a fight. You will inevitably experience challenges, periods of unrest and spells when you’re stagnant or stuck. When it seems like nothing’s going right, remember the old boxing adage: hands up, chin down. Square your jaw, get ready to fight and then get on with it! Remember: Life’s not supposed to be easy!

Be like a Timex

The classic Timex was a hugely popular wristwatch because it could take a licking but it always kept on ticking. Life gives everyone a licking at some stage. Things aren’t always simple but, just like a Timex, when you experience failure or hardship, you’ve just got to keep on ticking! Put one foot in front of the other, focus on what’s ahead and keep moving forward, step by step. Remember: Setbacks are all part of the journey. A failure doesn’t have to be fatal – sometimes you have to go down in order to come back up!

Zig Ziglar once said, “There is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs.” The good life isn’t always easy or comfortable, but you can become unstoppable if you make up your mind, you’re prepared to fight and you keep on ticking, no matter what happens.
