Making Your Quantum Leap, Part 1

Do you believe that you can do more to reach your full potential? Are you frustrated by your lack of progress or do you feel ‘stuck’? If you want to rapidly accelerate your rate of achievement, you need to make a quantum leap! In physics, a quantum leap is the explosive jump that a particle of matter makes in moving from one place to another. In life, making a quantum leap means you will experience extraordinary breakthroughs and higher performance levels. Here are some steps you can take today to accomplish far more than you ever realized you could:

Do It Differently

A major obstacle to growth is holding on to habits from your past. If you want to make a quantum leap, there’s no point doing things exactly as you’ve always done you have to behave differently to get to the next level. This doesn’t mean abandoning your old self; it means harvesting who you are and where you’ve come from. What are your strengths and abilities? Make a list of things you’ve already achieved and accomplishments that you’re proud of. Then, when you doubt yourself, take out that list, read it and remind yourself that you did it before and you can do it again. As Toni Sorenson said, “The first and most important person you must believe in is yourself.”

Follow the Sequence

In today’s society, stories of ‘overnight successes’ are commonplace. Unfortunately, many of these so-called overnight successes crash and burn very quickly because, while they might have experienced rapid growth, they have never perfected the fundamentals. Accelerated success without stability equals problems. What is quickly built is quickly torn down! If your foundations are not strong enough to provide the stability required for your exponential growth, everything will crumble. To ensure lasting success, you must follow the tried and tested sequence: survival, stability, success and significance. As Lou Holtz said, “Build your empire on the firm foundation of the fundamentals.”

Elevate Your Associations

The old saying, “Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are” is very true when it comes to achieving longterm success. To make a quantum leap, form strong bonds and relationships with people from whom you can learn and grow. If you become a student of success and seek out real estate coaching and mentorship, you will master the fundamentals, achieve stability and be ready to take that leap when the time is right. The Pathway to Mastery–Essentials training course is a great starting point!
